Yes there are indeed a lot of anti-fungal foods and herbs.

Is the CA living in your neck of the woods where it is easy to dig up?

Just a little more digging on liqorice root shows there are some contraindications.

No, he's in the Mediterranean so it's quite a distance from here.

It's just we don't get much exotic stuff around here so if we have it I'm sure everybody else does too 13.gif

Good luck CA! I know that can be a real PITA for those afflicted.
You should try an anti Candida diet. There is a Candida gut flora psoriasis connection. Plenty of info on it.
Basically
No wheat, no gluten, no sugar, no beer (vodka is okay), no pork, get your PH right with a teaspoon of baking soda in water daily, drink lemon water in the morning.
Keep your coffee intake as low as possible. Eat fermented foods like sour kraut and kimchi. Try it for four weeks and see if it begins to lessen.
Oh yeah, drink tons of water as well and get yourself some gut bacteria supplements Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium animalis and drink lots of yogurt with added Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium animalis complex.
Nothing with vinegar (unless apple cider vinegar with "the mother" in it.) Increase you veggie intake and NO FRUIT, or soft drinks.

THANKS A LOT JR - I'm impressed with the information you've given and I think I owe you a couple of beers too. cheers.gif

Also thanks a lot to all who gave hints, all great.

Yes I am a meditteranean boy [or was, now I'm grizzly], and a thing that I found out is that sunshine and salt water help a lot. This makes me feel lazy and careless, I have them both within easy reach but some of us here take them for granted and avoid the sun and sea.

So along with the diet ideas I will also try out the sea and the sunshine. But FB, I will certainly not try out that shooting practice, I'm so gratefull to life. hug.gif

If you decide to change your diet, don't be shocked or discouraged if it gets worse before it gets better. Good luck hug.gif

No probs CA! cheers.gif When I had candida overgrowth, I experienced all kinds of odd rashes and psoriasis-like symptoms.
It all cleared up after a month of intensive diet change. I've basically stuck with it for over two years, and as a side benefit, I feel great and shed my beer belly/table muscle chuckle.gif
It's a lifestyle change. On occasion, I break down and eat something bad, sweets, a few beers, or whatever, and honestly it makes me feel like crap all over again.
Not worth the indulgence.
