Yes this is true, but isn't part of the point of taking psychedelic drugs to gain a new perspective and eventually experience the death of one's ego? I hope that people taking these drugs would research them enough to at least know that much. These drugs are not for those who are not in control of their emotions or have mental issues is something that you think would be a good rule of thumb, but actually psychedelic drugs have helped some people overcome their mental issues and emotions. I'm talking about very powerful drugs like ketamine and DMT, but people can also have life changing experiences on LSD and mushrooms. Some of the trip reports I've read are simply incredible to say the least.
