I hope you get your bank troubles resolved. Or did you get the money transferred?

Is it ok just to mention that my name is XXX?

It's just my name lol.

My bank trouble will be resolved once I switch banks, rbc is completely crooked.

Not a uniquely Canadian banking phenomenon.

Trouble in the past with peoples names & personal info.
Will not repeat it. I have relatives with the same last name, so that's not the problem.
We could be related actually.

I didn't think Rodney would be that common of a surname.

Putting your real name on a forum makes me think its a fake. Fake story. Fake. Fake. Fake. Fake.. (copyright Seinfeld, Elaine referring to faking orgasms)

In Florida, whole Counties have the same last name.
And, if you get divorced, your ex-wife is still your sister.

There's plenty of room for all God's creatures. Right next to the mashed potatoes!

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THEY HAVE DONE THIS TO ME!

THE FIRST TIME IT TOOK AN EXTRA 2 DAYS BECAUSE THEY HAD STRAIGHT OUT NOT SENT OUT THE PAPER WORK TO TRANSFER THOSE FUNDS!

They also cut off my ability to withdraw money from quick cash which allows you to go into overdraft as much as you want! and they are NEVER supposed to cut people off from doing that!

Things like this never happen normally!

They lost our transfer money too, when we moved between cities..the branch that suppose to get the transfer had no record, and it took them days to find it. It only happened that one time, which is one time too much. But cutting you off from withdrawing funds is serious incompetence.

I went to rbc royal bank in canmore(close to banff) today after they told me that they locked my bank account and never gave me a reason!

I gave them my passport, debit card, and visa debit and they told me that to unlock my chequings account I had to show them 2 pieces of photo ID!

THAT IS A LIE! YOU DO NOT NEED TO SHOW RBC 2 PIECES OF ACTUAL ID, THEY HAVE TO BE OK WITH A PASSPORT!

Normally when someone does not have any photo ID they ask you personal questions and if you get them all right then they procead with anything you need them to do!

So the people at that rbc branch are CROOKS and doing against their jobs!

The reason i have no been able to withdraw money from quick cash to go how ever much you want into overdraft is because they locked my chequings account for no reason!

I reported this all to the authorities telling them everything.

Going against their jobs**

I have had rbc lock my checkings account one or twice in the past for no reason also, I WAS ABLE TO UNLOCK IT WITHOUT TWO EXACT PIECES OF ID!

So they are lying to me because they are criminals who are trying to financially starve me because they are not human clearly.

Them refusing to unlock my account is CRIMINAL because they are NEVER allowed to do that! especially since i showed them my passport, along with my debit card and visa debit.

They are not black and white required to show two pieces of ID I HAVE BEEN TO THE RBC BANK MANY TIMES AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS EXCEPTED JUST ONE PIECE OF ID!

MANY TIMES I HAVE BEEN THERE AND THEY WERE OK WITH MY HAVING NO PHOTO ID BECAUSE I ALWAYS ANSWERED THEIR VERIFICATION QUESTIONS RIGHT!

SO these rbc crooks at the canmore branch are completely going against their jobs!
