The Spanish came up to Osoyoos way of the Columbia river and slaughtered alot of the Indians there. . Spent the winter there and on the return met up with the Indians who were fully prepared. Slaughtered the Spanish. and there is a Indian midden that has armor and other metal implements of war buried in the midden (Indian dump)
I'm a history buff. going all the way back to the Sumerian age and the scrolls of Nibiru
Is that where you are, Osoyoos? Got A/C? The Shuswaps are a tough bunch. I kayaked across Oregon a few years ago, was great! Really nice people. Longest trip I did was the Yukon River some 500 miles of it, but it's a class1 and easy. Dunno about 11 dams though
That's awsome Shadow. I have never done a long river trip. Not even overnight. Hopefully soon. For the moment, I've been taking out a 10 foot down river boat (Dagger Crossfire) out on Lake Michigan in the rolling waves. It's like mother nature's rocking chair.
