‘There is a growing body of evidence that radiation in excess of what the government says are the minimum amounts we should be exposed to are actually good for you and reduce cases of cancer,’ she told Fox News TV host Bill O’Reilly.

Coulter pointed to articles in the New York Times and The Times of London to back up her argument.
‘So we should all be heading for the nuclear reactor leaking and kind of sunbathing,’ joked O’Reilly.
Coulter was speaking after writing a column on her website titled, ‘A Glowing Report on Radiation.’

:doublefacepalm: 13.gif That woman (if that's a woman) is the dumbest, most obtuse, phony individual this side of Bill O'Riley. Seriously, they can't believe half of what they say; rather they get paid to push neocon agenda to elderly so called Christians.

Good find AC! hi5.gif lol.gif

oh ffs bleh.gif It would be funny as hell if the situation wasn't so serious gaah.gif

It's the damn pop culture that made us believe radiation was bad for us coffeetime.gif

Quote:“There is an increased level of anxiety disproportionate to the actual risk,” says Jerrold Bushberg, who directs programs in health physics at the University of California at Davis. “It’s the dose that makes the poison. It’s not a binary thing.”

Fear and hype surround radiation, which has become something of a bogeyman in part because of popular culture. A radioactive spider bit Peter Parker and turned him into Spiderman. Bruce Banner absorbed radiation in a bomb explosion and became The Incredible Hulk. Radiation from nuclear detonations morphed a small lizard into Godzilla.

“It gives you subliminal messages about the capacity of radiation to do harm,” Professor Bushberg says in a telephone interview.

Just read it, it's common knowledge that anyone can adjust any data any number of ways to prove a point.

The tobacco companies did it for years, Monsanto, Al Gore 37.gif the list goes on and on.

One need only look at the aftermath of Hiroshima, or the horrible results and birth defects from the use of depleted uranium in Iraq to surmise that this is something that one probably does not want to spend much time around.

Well...she should've told that to those Chernobyl and Pripyat children,
who used to come every summer to our neighbour town for free therapy.
(Finnish goodwill at its best!)

They're all grown-ups now, of course...and still very much "enjoying"
the lovely lovely, very personal consequences of getting irradiated.
Those still alive, that is...

Maybe the response she would've gotten could have changed her outlook.

Bollocks!
Kiss my bony ass.

So, after paying the punishment-€ for being too poor, I got my electricity
back yesterday. I've got one lamp, one stove, one stereo for old vinyls.
(Plays CD's too...)
Oh, and the bathroom lighting, of course.

10 minutes of Mrs Whatshername's glorious TV life would feed, clothe and
shelter me for weeks.
Not to be self-righteous or smug - I'm exactly the same asshole as the next
guy - but:
Just where is the problem?
Where the solution?

F**k off, all you fascist whores!!!

Stay the f**k out of my sight!
