A brief mysterious pulse detected by Arecibo telescope has baffled boffins.

The discovery of a split-second burst of radio waves by scientists using the Arecibo radio telescope in Puerto Rico raises major new questions over what caused it.

The finding by an international team of astronomers, published July 10 in The Astrophysical Journal, marks the first time that a so-called 'fast radio burst' has been detected using an instrument other than the Parkes radio telescope in Australia.

'Our result is important because it eliminates any doubt that these radio bursts are truly of cosmic origin,” said Victoria Kaspi, an astrophysics professor at McGill University in Montreal and Principal Investigator for the pulsar-survey project that detected this fast radio burst.

'The radio waves show every sign of having come from far outside our galaxy – a really exciting prospect.'

"No kill I". chuckle.gif (words from an alien on an old Star Trek episode). But, I understand radio waves are created from all sorts of celestial bodies out there.

Meh.

From outside our galaxy...

Even if it were the Alien bloody Hit Parade,
all it would tell is that they liked rock'n'roll
so and so many 1000s of years ago.

chuckle.gif

Heck, all I know about the Sun is that it
still burned some 8 minutes ago.

The stellar disk of our Milky Way Galaxy is about 100,000 Light Years across in distance and about 1,000 Light Years deep in distance and so this Radio Signal must have been beamed outwards from its point of origin (at the speed of light it travels) at least from around 500 to 1,000 to 50,000 to 100,000 years ago and so amazingly its creators may have since gone extinct long before their or its broadcasts ever reached us like wow damn put that into your omfg thought pipe and smoke it (*=*)

Whats even more head bending is the possibility that the aliens who are sending these signals might be so unbelievably technologically advanced their signals only appear and sound like they are emanating from very far away because maybe they are being sent from invisibly stealthed flying saucers cloaked in our own backyards and maybe these are really telepathic signals being sent to earth and to you and i telekinetically delivered from highly evolved alien minds from far away and or from within our own bedrooms where they have intruded while we obliviously sleep...

Or maybe nibiru is actually an annunaki death star space ship orbiting stealthed and cloaked behind the moon or maybe the moon itself is their interstellar craft meaning alien space king noahs cosmic ark sending down wave after wave of flying saucers for their long term monitoring and human abduction agendas and i cant prove thats true yet no one else can prove its not and so no one has ever seen any religious god but millions of people have seen and encountered aliens and flying saucers which in my opinion are time machines from distant future earth (*-*)
