The Doors have always been one of my most favorite rock bands and they have so many good songs throughout not so many studio albums and they were unfairly robbed of a long lasting career when Jim Morrison died so young...

"An ancient lunatic reigns in the trees of the night"

"Do you remember when we were in Africa?"

Why is it always that we dont really know what we have until its gone?

How good was Ray Manzareks keyboard playing?

Listen to this and hear how unique and brilliant and haunting it actually was...

One of the best songs from The Doors final and possibly best studio album with Jim Morrison >

If its not about dancing with the stars or the overrated and socially acceptable drug addicts sheen and lohan, the majority of people these days dont really give a damn and they're too narrow minded to realize what great classic music actually is (was) because modern music has lost its soul and no longer do people write and sing about their real feelings that we all can emotionally realte to and rest assured those days are gone but never forgotten...

This is raw and live and a really good song...

I agree, Light my Fire was to this day one of my favorite Doors songs and Ray's keyboard play.

Our rock and roll heroes are checkin out. Last year was Jon Lord from Deep Purple.

Trevor Bolder from Spiders From Mars just died.

When Page and Plant go, I'm done. Not to mention Bowie. Those days and people in my life were the best of my life.

You made it Vixen! yay.gifbeercheer.gif You'll probably like the fact that Plant is a member here as well as JJ Elliott. They haven't been around for a while though, but I guess those old farts are still going strong and bless the world with their music.
