Sorry to be a bible quoter, I don't normally do that in discussions because it ends up being pointless, but the use of the word 'Force' or Forces is generally associated with the uh dark side.
"Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. But in his estate shall he honor the god of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory...." (Daniel 11:37-39)
I would much rather have an atheist tell me I am wrong than someone that believes their brand of woo is correct but mine is not. That kinda makes the person a hypocrite.
No, what I was getting there was that, because I haven't led a sheltered life, and because I have known Crowleyites/Occultists socially, sometimes those folks us words as shibboleths, and 'force' or 'forces' is one of their shibboleth words, it signifies to other Crowley/Occult types that while they're blathering on about luv'n'lite'n'fweedom'n whitewhitches'n'whatevah, really they're talking about lucifer. To be plain, I'm saying it is a code word with occultists.
fair enough honey.. i dont call it the force, i call it the light, but a lot of spiritual people call it the force, and its not meaning lucifer, IMO.. im not a Crowley fan.. and have never delved into occultism..
edit.. but maybe my spirtual work and interests would be considered occultism to christians? i have never gotten into witchcraft, nor am i a fan.. but i dont pass judgement to people that do..

define occultism and what they do, please..
i dont view it from being from occultists, which sound as though they are dark characters, to you.. i have been on lots of spiritual forums and it is just a description of what the light is/ the creator energy, as most people have a hard time with the word god these days,.. it is all that is.. the light that permeates through all living things.. its not dark, to me..
