Your god set you above animals. I'm just pleased to be godless If you are his favorite creation, well it's fittung because religious humans are as heedless and selfish and egocentric as your god is.
hmm well it's a quarter to midnight here so, I'll be disappearing soon.
I want people to understand that apologetics is a form of evangelism and I am not an evangelist. I will respond to some queries, but for me to answer and prolong this thread would amount to evagelism ok? You want me to make a case? you're asking me to evangelise to you, which is something I'm not comfortable about doing, it all comes down to the bible and whether you've read it or not. The central thing that stood out to me when I finally read it when I was about 40. was the stuff about 'trust no-one but God' and the repeated cautions about false shepherds, wolves in sheeps clothing. Tells you a lot about churches and priests/ministers.
It may amuse you to know I only ever attended church in childhood (my dad was a mason, so it's very unusual for them to send a child to a church, neither my brother nor my sister were sent to a church) but that church was a presbyterian one and guess what? after a few years of childhood, they shunned me, for not taking the altar call. I felt the pressure (it's very heavy) to 'open your heart to 'Jesus', I liked everything I had heard about him, but when I opened my heart like the preacher said, I saw and felt (not in a material sense) this stony dark monotlith, simliar to the one portrayed in 2001, although that film hadn't been made yet, and I as a 9 yr old thought, no, that isn't Jesus and quickly closed up my 'heart' to this stony dark thing they said was 'Jesus'.
Deception is everywhere. Especially in 'churches'.
