Holy crap! damned.gif

I can't bear you! Angry bear in savage attack on the car of hunter who shot him in thigh

The unnamed hunter shot and wounded a bear in a the forest in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.

The wounded animal fled: but the man was not prepared for what happened next morning as the three returned to their cars. A video shows the carnage inflicted on his vehicle. The animal ran amok, scratching the Ford's body, breaking the lights, smashing its windscreen, tearing the front and rear seats and ripping off the rear bumper.

The cars of his two friends were untouched. That this was the work of a bear is in no doubt as the camera shows claw marks in wet clay at the scene.

damned.gif He should not go back there for 20 years or so. Bear hunting does not interest me at all unless TSHTF.
I'm so thankful we haven't run into one, as we've seen a Lynx and a few animals that we're not even sure wtf they are.
Specifically, we were always loud in the woods to avoid them, always banging two stones together, talking loud and a pocket full of firecrackers just in case.
If you don't accidentally sneak up on them it's all good. They really don't mean any harm to people, we're not natural enemies or a food source for them under normal circumstances.

Its not noble its called responsibility a wounded animal from your action is your responsibility any hunter knows this to not track it and put out off it misery is sad and if your scared of what he would do after he wounded the bear shouldn't be hunting bear to begin with but now there is a very angry bear out there who knows to avoid humans or kill them if it survived

it isn't any person's responsibility to put him or herself in danger just because he or she isn't qualified or experienced enough for bear hunting.
there are many things people shouldn't do to begin with but they still do it.

The responsibility is his now what the bear did to the car can you think what it will do to the next human it encounters so yes it calls for putting yourself in danger to own what you have wrought you have your rifle and if it is a regular bear hunter you have your pistol and by the account i see you have two friends so you hunt it down or it hunts you but either way you kill it

Baloney !!!

It IS the responsibility of the hunter to make a clean and honorable kill.
Hunter safety courses, which are mandatory in the State of NY, and most other States, stress respect for the game being hunted, respect for the habitat the game lives in, and RESPONSIBILITY to finish whatever is started.

This asswipe was not a hunter, he was just a killer, and not a very good one at that.

Most real "hunters" will tell you there is no difficulty at all in shooting bear, they are just like big simpletons in the wild, and will sit back and eat what they find, making themselves a too-easy target.

If someone wants to hunt Bear, they should use a Bow, usually they have a 30 meter maximum range, and bows put a little bit of the hunter's skin in the game.

One of us should start a thread every day.
Let's see, the Julian Calender?

Why don't we all just push the restart button, do away with BC and AD, and start recording dates in YOO time ? (Year of Octo)
