I'm watching season 1 of the series "Revolution" - anyone watched and like to discuss?

I am not a scientific or very technical person and am wondering if or how a permanent global blackout could happen.

I accept twists from realities in movies but I appreciate them more if I have knowledge about their subject.

Hi Ribbon

It's OK, adventureous like LOST and I think from the same makers

It's about global power failure, no electricity for 15 years ..............

Well, people survived here for thousands of years without central heating, but I'm sure it would suck. I'm also thinking there would be some electricity producing systems in place in 15 years 13.gif Necessity is the mother of inventions.

Don't agree with first part Octo, if it happens suddenly we won't survive. Thousand of years ago humans were accustomed to difficult envirments. Today's humans are like paper dolls, if you know what I mean. Luxary made us weaker.

No argument there Atlas. The vast majority would perish but we have strong ones who would survive and prosper. A rather large weeding of the garden.

Oh a lot of people would die, no doubt about it. We do have means to survive without electricity or central heating so on a personal level I think we'd be fine. I would miss you guys though tissueguy.gif
