On the road to snow-where! Spectacular shots of snowmobilers riding snowy border between Sweden and Norway

This spectacular snowy route marks the border between Sweden and Norway - and is perfect challenge for adventure-loving snowmobilers.

But this group are quite literally treading on a thin line - because to their right is Norway where riding a snowmobile for fun is illegal while to their left is Sweden where it is allowed.

Strict laws in Norway mean unless it is work related, riding snowmobiles is against the law.

But photographer Havard Dalgrav, 25, and his friends were undeterred by the risk of ending up on the wrong side of the law and travelled four hours to the border to capture these stunning shots.

How does anyone get any shopping done?
Would smuggling butter be considered a business use?

Questions like this keep me awake at night, so I changed my sig.

There's plenty of room for all God's creatures. Right next to the mashed potatoes!

Yeah butter. It was during the great butter shortage last winter. chuckle.gif

Two Swedes have been arrested by Norwegian police for smuggling more than 250kg of butter into the country, offloading one consignment for more than £25 a packet.

Cowboy hat smuggler jailed at Norway border

A smuggler travelling across Sweden's western border recently baffled customs officials who found over 500 cowboy hats stashed in the back of his car along with a large quantity of booze and cigarettes.

“This is our largest seizure of cowboy hats,” said Morten Nystuen of the Kongsvinger customs to the Glåm Dalen newspaper.

If they pull you over and ask you if you are riding for fun. Just tell them "No, I can't stand riding snowmobiles! It sucks!".
