Yeah like Rainbow had like three different lead singers (posted above) and still managed to have some really good rock songs with each of them...

I was going to call this thread Rainbow but i checked the search engine (imagine that) before i created this thread and found another already called Rainbow so i didnt want to duplicate it...

Rainbow was a farce - the real band was Deep Purple - that's it boys.
As a teen I had 2 favorite bands - Chicago and Deep Purple. This don't mean I didn't listen (and enjoy) many others (The Who, The Grand Funk railroad, Black Sabbath - just to mention a few). In Deep Purple the instrumental duo Ritchie Blackmores - John Lord was an example how you must play hard rock for all other bands up to heavy metal bands. Even Queen borrowed some intonations from them. Whitesnake and Rainbow was parody of what Deep Purple did. There was two top albums - Stormbringer and Burn, though earlier In Rock and Machine Head was amazing too.
As I mention - the two my favorite bands - I knew every tone they've play, every note, every song, album. From Chicago I learn how the brass must be played (James Pankov), from Jon Lord - the Hammond organ (From Patric Moraz - jazz rock and synts) - in short.

So boys and girls, let's talk Deep Purple and Hard Rock. Let's go back to the source of rock and roll. :)

You can become a slave only by voluntary consent.
I am highly allergic to circumcised souls and red flags with Venusian star on them.
