In a press conference following the announcement of the straw poll results at the annual Washington gathering of social conservatives, Family Research Council President Tony Perkins all but dismissed the results as irrelevant, citing 600 people who registered Saturday morning and, he said, "left after Ron Paul spoke."
A total of 1,983 ballots were cast. "You do the math," Perkins said.
So every single Ron Paul Supporter left after he spoke and not even one voter that stayed for the rest of the speeches by a Mormon cult member and corporations in suits could have possibly voted or him.
The media has lost control of this election and is scrambling to get Paul out of the limelight. Irresponsible reporting on behalf of CBS news, thank god people have finally got the mainstream medias number.
