Quote:Roswell is in the news again because of alien lifeforms – except this time it’s unusual plant life rather than spacecraft or creatures from outer space.

The New Mexico town, which has been the subject of intense scrutiny since the 1940s over the possibility of a UFO landing, is being invaded again – but now it’s tumbleweed (and lots of it).

The weeds have blown in and buried property under up to eight-foot-high ’tumbleweed drifts’, trapping people inside their houses.

Yeah,,,it is so boring in Roswell,,,

the tumble weeds pile up against the houses,,,

amazing,,,does this every year,,,El Paso too,,,

well just the houses on the edge of town,,,

and on the west side,,,they are the most bored,,,

and the tumble weeds know this,,,and pile on them,,,

and trap the bored ones in their houses,,,

because they can't push them out of their way,,,

the horror of it all...

Revenge Of The Evil Tumbleweeds...

Wow like now that i'm thinking about it...

"Tumbleweed" sure sounds like western slang for "Rolling A Joint"...

Ha haa haaa haaaa haaaaa (*-*)

Ken Curtis (Festus from Gunsmoke) live in Germany like i didnt even know he sang professionally?!

Although the American west and American western films have always been popular in Germany...

But hey like what else is new most singers become actors and most actors become singers as usual...

That's funny - To watch that is.

Probably a fire hazard, though.

Pray for me. hug.gif

Riding a dirt bike,,,way too fast,,,across the desert of New Mexico,,,

with friends,,,I was ahead,,,moving fast,,,at the top of a rise,,,

the road did a hard left,,,unknown territory to me,,,and moving too fast to turn,,,

I went straight,,,the reason the road turned hard left,,,was on the other side of

the rise,,,was a cliff,,,which I went off of,,,lucky for me,,,piled against

the side of this cliff,,,were tumbleweeds,,,I fell into the huge pile of

tumbleweeds,,,and down inside I went,,,it was a lot like landing into a pillow,,,

it was at this time,,,I became one with the tumbleweeds,,,climbing out

of the huge pile of tumbleweeds,,,I saw my concerned friends,,,

laughing at me,,,but the tumbleweeds saved me that day,,,and so now

I feel I must speak in defense of those who can not speak for themselves...
