Grand Rapids is probably three or four days away for packages. St. Petersburg was only 2-3 days away which is what makes it so funny. Most of the time when I order stuff, it seems to come from a far away place like California or North Dakota (Swanson Vitamins.) So I was looking forward to something arriving quickly for once.
So of course "Ground Hog Day" or maybe "The Truman Show" kicked in.
The Truman show was shot on location 40 miles from here, btw. It's the most beautiful little community... a postcard in 3D. They probably didn't have to change a thing when doing the outdoor shots other than to make them appear endless in how big the place is. It's not just one or two streets that are so colorfully quaint, however. Probably better for visiting than living there because the dazzle might wear off. It's nice to have places to visit that are just so pretty that make quite an impression. If you live there, however it becomes "the usual."
