This comes the same day as the day they burned out Dorner. And the State of the Union Address.

I think the US has already invaded Guam and the Russian force doesn't look big enough to displace us.

Uhh... No.. We won stewardship of Guam in WW2. It's a territory of the US. You don't even need a passport to fly there if you are a US citizen.

This is the same thing as if the Russians invaded Washington State's Airspace.

I don't believe they have a big enough force to take over Washington state either. Red Dawn was just a movie. Although we might sell them Washington state and recoup the cost of Alaska - now that would be a sound business move.

Never underestimate the force of your opponent. It could cost many lives.

This was a probe. The Soviets used to do it all the time in Alaska to test our readiness.

I wouldn't worry about it. Russian fighter jets and god knows what invades Finnish airspace on a regular basis. Sometimes it's a big deal (depending on the political climate) but mostly it's just filed under oops. The international airspace over the Gulf of Finland is just 3 km wide so shït happens. shït also happens over other Finnish territories but thankfully friendly relations are valued more that shït these days. damned.gif

As of 2009 Russia stopped its population decline. Now they aren't facing extinction as a species they are looking at the future.
