That whole deal was a setup. First they were given a permit for their march. Then it was revoked. They took it to court and a Federal court said it was wrong to revoke it and that they can have the march so the permit was reissued. Then the police were told to let Antifa and BLM in. The marchers were being dropped off a block and a half from the starting place and had to walk in. Antifa was blocking the way and assaulting marchers and then BLM was allowed to come up behind them and assault all while the cops just stood there at a distance. Once they finally all made it to the park the cops allowed Antifa and BLM to continue throwing bricks and smoke bombs at them. When one of the marchers picked up one of the smoke bombs and threw it back the riot police moved in and forced them out of the park into the waiting protesters.
You are exactly right, 9. The mayor, police and governor are responsible for the deaths and injuries. I hope the marchers start a class action suit against them.
You know, those Alt Righter guys have marched in several cities. The only time there has been trouble was in the cities where cops were told to stand down and not keep Antifa separate.
What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice
