[...] American research scientist says he is close to discovering a 'cure' for ageing, that he could have a drug ready for testing by the end of next year.

Molecular Biologist Dr Bill Andrews told TV ONE's SUNDAY programme that humans shouldn't have to suffer from the ravages of ageing. He says that ageing is a disease that should, and could be cured.

But aren't we already immortal? Not in body, but in spirit? Sure we can lead a healthy life and improve the odds, but aging is not unnatural imo. Fuckitol, it's your life, you make the rules

My science is not very good,

but common sense tells me that one basic scientific law is that when there is growth it leads to death ..............

And I like Octo's quote : We are immortal, not in body, but in soul. We can lead a healthy life and improve the odds in the present and for the future.

“Our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others, past and present, and by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future.” ― David Mitchell
