'Canada’s biggest drugstore chain is exploring the possibility of getting into medical-marijuana sales in a move that would dramatically alter the landscape of the new industry, bringing one of the country’s best-known retailers into the business.'

It is surprising how fast everyone is jumping on this 'ain't no hay' wagon.

With all the new research on medical marijuana coming out everyone seems to be embracing it very quickly, as with Shoppers (a mega corporation). That's what I meant.

I'd like Shoppers to put non-medical MJ in capsules or make a little green pill (hash oil etc. - many forms), and make a new section in the store and call it "The Green Room", or something like that. lol

sounds good to me lol

it is still a gray area to get a prescription from the dr though i think.

the place where we go for our dr is a clinic, not a walk in you have to be registered

there but anyhow their policy is that they wont write them.

so.. not sure how to find a dr who will. it is hard enough to find a regular dr here,

nevermind a whole new one.

I will be phoning my doctor's nurse closer to retirement and get a feel for their stand on medical marijuana because with me heading into my 60s the arthritis will only get worse and I would rather eat a MJ brownie/or spread some weed butter (non-addictive) on a bran muffin than take a pain pill (addictive?). Then I want to grow my own because I want total control over the quality.

well good luck with it all.
i think perhaps they will be a little more agreeable to it at some point what with trudeau's stance
so that will help i am guessing.

I was thinking and hoping that will happen, also along with more medical research (transparent).

Yeah I don't see Canada keeping it under the ban hammer too much longer.

NEVER!

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice
