Should special education teachers quit ?

Yes, Children with special needs have the right to be in a special education program, its also in most cases a legal requirement.

But the child does not have the right to a special education teacher, the special ed teacher has the right to switch licenses and become a mainstream public school teacher, and not serve kids with special needs.

Society owes the kid a special education, the teacher does not, and without the special education teacher, there effectively is no special education program.

Why should the special education teachers quit ?

Because they are unwanted by the students.

The students beat them up and assault them everyday.

Most of them will end up on SSI for their entire prime, if not their entire lives never having a job.

The students are absolutely no fun to be around....

Autism is amongst the most common problems that special ed kids have.. and they are not fun to be around when you have to work with them, high functioning autism like Aspergers makes the kid appear normal infact, but is anything but... and they're just mean, nasty and violent and abusive, and grumpy all day, and will not participate in social activities in school, if it means they have to actually be barred from it for assaulting you, they don't care.

They're thrilled to hear that they are banned from school, banned from social activities in the school, banned from field trips, banned from certain privileges, you name it.

Who seriously wants to deal with somebody like that ?

Sure.. its chemistry... but who cares ? the results are the same, and by the end of the day, the results are all that matters.

So... Should special education teachers say, we had enough, they have the right to be in school until they're 21, but they can have it by themselves without a teacher...

Should they quit ?

why do you always write about the same issues?
why do you always use the same arguments?
what's wrong with you?
don't you have friends you could spam with your worthless thoughts and opinions?
