Police officers freak out after mistaking cable for snake inside a computer

Police officers in the United Kingdom, freaked out after mistaking a cable for a snake, a snake expert said.

The snake expert in Llanelli, Wales, said that he was called to an apartment by police in the middle of the night last week, to investigate a snake that hid in the homeowner's computer.

The man told police that he bought the computer in Cardiff, and when he inspected it, he found the snake inside. Hopkins said that upon further examination, he realized that the snake is just a black and red computer cable.

Police officers first thought that the snake expert was joking, but when they poked it, they realized that the snake was indeed a cable.

Hopkins said that he often receives calls from frantic people reporting snakes in their computers, but this was the first time that he received a call from the police.

The Erectus Trouserius (also known as the trouser snake) is the worlds most dangerous snake. Color varies, from pink to black. It is fang-less, average length is 5 to 9 inches depending on subspecies. Usually appears in bedrooms but found in unusual places at times.
May attack women in lower part of the abdominal area.
Its highly venomous spit can cause prolonged swelling lasting 9 months.
It has also been known to attack men from behind.
