Silly is punishable by death in NK. Only the Ministry of Propaganda is allowed to be silly.

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice

So true!

...but I don't think you are allowed to think it is silly.

So, now, it looks like Un is open to talks, that is, if everyone apologizes and the U.S. puts down their big stick.

Quote:North Korea said it was open to talks, but not as long as the United States is "brandishing a nuclear stick," while Washington insisted that the burden for renewed negotiations now rests with Pyongyang.

Or, Un will consider negotiations when his stick is as big as U.S.'s stick.

The US media never tells the truth about statements from the NK media.

They always twist the rhetoric into threats when it is nothing more than a promise to strike back if America or SK attack first.

NK has never threatened a first strike attack on us or SK.

NK certainly did when the second wave of sanctions were imposed, which the U.S. and other nations are taking very seriously now (after the fact). Anyway, that's how I interpreted the news.

I likely know more about NK and what they have said and the nuclear conflict than anyone on the woo-woo forums. For nearly a year I played as Kim Jong-Il at GLP.

Yes, that was me. More than a dozen people believed I was the real deal. A few begged me to let them move to NK.

NK has not ever threatened a first strike.

Part of the problem is the poor engish at their news site. It allows an editor to turn it into anything they want.

Look for yourself and see where the threats are. They are obtuse comments and empty rhetoric targeted not at us, but at English speaking nationals.

North Korea has asked for a Peace treaty and an end to the occupation of the south since the beginning of the ceasefire.

The US refuses because that would mean they would have to give up military control of SK and likely lose the central bank that was installed to control their economy and keep the nation as serfs.

News just in - it's all about lifting those dang sanctions. I thought so.
