I think that might be fun for all Kritters!

The Barbados will reward visitors by giving them hundreds of dollars as part of a plan to boost tourism.

Visitors will receive "free spending money" based on their length of stay. Guests who stay five nights will get $US150 ($145) per person, and on stays of seven nights or more the reward will increase to $193 per person (with a maximum of two people per room).

UK and European tourists visiting for up to seven days will get a $580 voucher.

I wonder which hotels are not participating.

Considering what things cost on the Islands down there they should double it.

This is tourist subsidies in a decling market. But your stay would still be very expensive even without Western emenities.

There are better Islands that cost as much or less.

That would be fine with a large group of people (armed with weapons) roaming nekid on the beach, because that's also where the baddies hang out looking for foolish tourists. I speak from my experience in Bermuda.

Barbados is awesome. Yeah lots of poverty but wonderful people and clean. I imagine those're $s you can only spend there. Jeez take a sleeping bag, why do people always have to have walls a roof and a blow dryer in th bathroom?

Used to go the Club Med in the Turks and Caicos (Providenciales). A week of sun, sand, and French cooking. It was the acrobatic resort so I always would take trapeze lessons.

Please tell me more about the trapese lessons Tadpole, I'm intrigued and curious about which trapeze acts you are actually capable of performing.
