I wish I could veto a bill that allows me not to follow the law.
If he can pick and choose what laws to enforce, and make up new laws and exemptions based on how it will hurt the Dems at midterms, then we should all be exempt from the laws and base all our decisions on keeping our own little status quo.
A veto of the bill will give the GOP and Libby candidates a cache of ammo to hurl against their opponents come midterms. He's over a proverbial barrel here, it will be interesting to see how this pans out.
Dem candidates are already distancing themselves from the admin, thereby, demonstrating their convictions of convenience.
