It was on the front door though so we knew it wasn't one of the friendly regulars as they tend to just walk in the back door. Only the mormons or the cops knock on our front door. (Our doorbell doesn't work and we didn't care to have it fixed)
I opened the door and there's our neighbor from a couple of houses down the road. He was goofy grinning standing there stuttering and shining asking if he could use us as test subjects? I said sure, but about what?
Well, he apparently found God recently and asked if we knew about how available that is to everybody. I said yes, we (JR and I) wouldn't be together without it. I know how exciting it is, but we don't do religion. We have our own personal relationships with god and nuff said.
He said yeah that's what his wife says too. I'm not sure what he wanted to convey, but he seemed a bit ecstatic without going into the religious realm. Seemed more like he was doing a poll asking if we knew this, lol.
Then we proceeded to talk about our puppies and didn't venture into any more godlike stuff.
I wished him a great weekend before I noticed he walked off towards our neighbor who is a genuine Jesus freak.
Well, we are all different and if he wanted to spread his newly discovered joy and take a poll that's fine, to each their own. As for me, I would only discuss such an intimate, spiritual joy as that with close friends and family, but then I'm a rather private person and don't make it a habit to discuss my spiritual journey through life, as well as I try to avoid discussing traditional religious dogma.
