It's important to emphasize that during his tenure as an actor at SNL he was never funny. This is a widely held opinion. Apparently Lorne Michaels or somebody thought he was funny which probably means they shared the same perverse and ideas as to what is humorous. It has just come out that Franken wrote a private skit about sexually assaulting or raping a famous woman newscaster, Leslie Stahl, here in the US. He also wrote similar kind of things. Perhaps he shared those proclivities with his superiors at SNL and they liked it. Drain the Swamp!

Just saw this in a link from Drudge:

"On 'Good Morning America' she described passive-aggressive gestures like drawing devil-ears on 8x10 glossy photos as she tried to autograph them for fans

Once again, we have the satanic connection.  Is it a coincidence? I'm not one of those people who sees the devil under every pillow. Not at all. Yet, here it is - again. Personally, the only devil I believe in is the "devil" in our own shortcomings. Satan - if we need to call it that - is not an it, but a failure on our part to fully glorify God and to love with all our heart. Obviously we miss those marks almost every moment of every day, but it is of our own creation. "It" or "Satan" are not the correct words, because those words imply an actual being...it and Satan are poor descriptions of our consciousness.

PS. Drudge's headline and photo has to be an instant classic. The double entendre gets 10 stars out of five.

I hear ya. Some people have only tired of them when it wasn't a Republican being 'exposed.' It appears that sex scandals are rather widespread in Congress. Fear of being exposed could be a major reason why so many of them are tone deaf to the issues that are of great concern to the people.

They have been voting in a manner that defies any reasonable logic. That can mean they are afraid. So many go to Congress promising to change things only to make a 180 shortly after arriving. Some of that is the fear of a loss of power on the Hill. But the ones at or near the top who enforce this crap, they are as dirty as the day is long.
