I turned myself to consider wisdom and madness and folly

Yet I myself perceived
That the same event happens to them all.

Yeah US, I think most of us recall pre DSL days. I recall when 911 was going down, our dialup in Sarasota quit working altogether.
Bush was a few blocks away in one direction and AF 1 a few blocks in the other.
I passed the motorcade on my way to work. Freaky day all things considered and a big target was just a few blocks away.

The days when downloading a song off Kaza in 18 minutes was good speed chuckle.gif

There was a good side of those days. It was Search engines, you typed in a search and got what you wanted instead of having to dig thru piles of crapola to find it now.

Search now means SEARCH

We're back to 100% at least for now. I recall waiting up for hours for songs from napster. Kaza... oh yeah.
Fond memories of reformatting my computer over and over due to the spyware chuckle.gif
Emule was a great replacement for that, but it took FOREVER...
Sometimes a day or two before a d/l would even commence.

Why would your dialup quit, could it have been that the lines were congested with a high volume of people using their phones/computers to find out what was happening?

I'm well rested and feeling fine thank you. It's a sunny day, but windy and a bit chilly. I better have another coffee. coffeetime.gif

I'm going to bake a carrot cake today. That's the plan.

Carrot cake is my hubby's favourite type of cake. It is too fattening for me, but I love it too.

We are going to Canada Blooms show today. I promised my mom I'd buy her lots of catnip seeds and I need herb seeds and who knows what other wonders there may be there.
