Interesting. We had some nice northern lights some 3 nights ago and also last night there was a 4.1 earthquake in the water between Finland and Sweden. We didn't notice although it rattled windows around here. It was the biggest EQ in a hundred years they say damned.gif

The earthquake was measured as 3.9 on the Richter scale, although the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) measured the quake at 4.2.

According to the Swedish national seismic network, the Gulf of Bothnia "has relatively high seismic activity but has not experienced a quake of this size in the last 100 years."

The week prior to the Indonesia earthquake 2004 there were 3 minor EQs in my neighborhood. They were not big, 2.something and I didn't feel it, but still a bit unusual 13.gif
