My cousin, third from left below, wrote these profound lyrics to this awesome song, by Split Image, from South Eastern Massachusetts, still relevant words and messages and warnings he sings so powerfully, this vastly underrated hard rock, thats very likely the most intense eighties metal song you've probably never heard before > https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Split_Image/47492

Quote: "So many pieces on the floor, Your running away, This piece just doesnt fit anymore, Throw it away"

"God knows you did the best you could, Avoiding mistakes, Dont sit there thinking your no good, Got to relate"

"Starting to say, I've seen it before, The pressure is on its way once more, You've got to even the score with a fight, Dont run away"

"Years pass, But im still far away, I dont know why, I feel im digging my own grave, Case of do or die"

Defeat aggressive prejudice, Your under the blade, Those who scorn me, May ignore me, I still have my claim to glory, Listen to me, Dont run away"

Very 80's, I can hardly listen to that stuff anymore, but pretty good Rush like vocals.

I love soft rock and heavy metal equally and i really like the lyrics to this song Dont Run Away, that i can still and always will relate to, but i cant make out the words he sings during the last line, can you hear what hes saying?  i think it starts out with "Those..." and I dont know why Split Image never made it bigger as a metal band during that so popular music scene back then, when so many other far worse band did, like friggin Poison, who i totally and absolutely hate, for one of way too many other examples did...
