Yup, Sprinsteen's guitarist Steven Van Zandt used Twitter to let everybody know how pissed it made him.

'One of the great gigs ever in my opinion. But seriously, when did England become a police state? 13.gif

Quote:Support for jailed Lamb of God singer picking up steam

Support for the singer of a Richmond-based, Grammy-nominated heavy metal band who's in a Czech Republic jail is picking up steam even as the man's future remains murky.

A week after holding a vigil on Browns' Island, friends of Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe are planning to take their push for attention to Washington. They're planning another vigil for Sunday, from 1 to 3 p.m., in front of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Blythe is next due in court on Thursday. "Hopefully, we'll be welcoming him home" after the court appearance, said Tommy Streat, a friend of Blythe and organizer of both vigils. "But if not, we'll be sending the message that will support him."

Blythe has been jailed in Prague since June 27, when he and his four bandmates were apprehended at the airport. They were subsequently arrested and charged in connection with the death of a fan who attended one of their shows in that city in May 2010. The 19-year-old fan died from injuries allegedly suffered at the show. The man apparently rushed onto, and was thrown off the stage on three occasions during the show. At some point, he hit his head and later slipped into a coma, from which he never recovered.

A Czech judge set bail at about $200,000, which Blythe posted. But the country's legal system allows prosecutors to appeal bail. A three-judge panel will apparently hear Blythe's case again Thursday.

On the "We the People" forum on whitehouse.gov, a petition needs 25,000 signatures in 30 days to get attention. It passed the 10,000 mark on Thursday.

If you get into a mosh pit and go stage diving at a Lamb of God concert, you're taking your life in your own hands. Blythe should not be held responsible for one fans stupidity. I've seen them many times, they are a great live band but I wouldn't recommend what this fan did to anyone.

I've seen fists and teeth flying in their mosh pits, to take it a step further and go stage diving three different times is just absurd. The fans are not supposed to be doing that shït anyway. Poor guys been in a Czech prison for several weeks now, he does not belong there according to all accounts.
