I remember my brother, maybe 5, coming back from bible camp, crying because he'd been told Ethiopian children deserved to starve because they weren't Christian.

And my own daughter at bible camp. I figured she should have both sides and make up her own mind about religion. Big mistake. The camp had a speaker in who told the kids (8-10 yr olds) that if they didn't accept Jesus into their lives they'd die in a horrible car crash. I packed her home that morning and she never went back.

yep, as i always thought, you are going to hell.. sinners are grinners, at least you have that going for you.. chuckle.gif you can take your friend octo too.. she is a sinner.. she thinks sinners are winners but only The Lord will decide that.. amen..

That coloring book is pretty damn creepy. Of course it's a child's natural reaction to bring flowers, pray and allow someone you just happen to find nailed to a cross squirt blood all over you.

just watched mel gibson's the passion of the christ on dvd.
the whole film is a torture fest. almost like watching hostel. :/

yeah i liked it. also liked the fact that they filmed it in aramaic latin and hebrew.

Exactly. The language really gave it the edge. And the horrendous violence was shocking but made it real.
