Status of AMV I'm working on.....

I know that it isn't really all that important but I just wanted to mention that I've started working on the AMV clip again after not really doing that much. For the last few weeks I got sick for a while and tried to catch up on an online Linux course I'm taking (which I only have a limited time access to) so I have been distracted. I almost have enough stuff to present a clip but I need just a little more time before I can do that.

I just hope that the members of the forum that I promised that I would have something to show them don't think I have given up and forgotten about it... coffeetime.gif

wave.gif Hey DC!
Good to see you, was wondering what happened to you.
You've taken on a lot, and there's a learning curve with it... believe me, I understand.

I have no clue on how to use or run Linux, I have heard that it is a really secure OS.

I guess I should mention that I still want to create a blog and start posting stuff, but I realized there was a little more leg work to it then I realized..even sometimes in just making one post. Perhaps I should check out other peoples blogs and try communicating with them before worrying about doing too much on a blog myself. :D

I will create a Youtube channel when I have something to upload, although now that I think about it I could just create one and add my favorites to it in the meantime.

It's kind of like an AMV, anime music video, except I take various video game, movie, anime clips and mix them together.

To get some idea here is a link to a video done for Skrillex which is one of the sources of inspiration for me to do my own. However I should mention since I have little to no experience in this so I can't promise mine will be anywhere as good as it:

Thanks. Thanks. beercheer.gif

As a person with ADHD I should know better by now than to have too many pots on the stove, but usually I try to plan to do too many things in order to force myself to at LEAST try and get a few of them done. Of course even this doesn't guarantee that the really important stuff will get done in time or even ever...

Luckily I have had some experience with Linux before but studying for one of their certifications is another issue. Sometimes I wish I could have specialized in just ONE thing and been able to do just that instead of trying to be the generalist that I have become. However when I use to be a specialist was that once the work was no longer available it was much harder to find another job or type of work to do. I guess if one could be a specialist in one thing without that problem it would be a good thing.

Linux is an operating system that is based off of Unix (an OS that was created at AT&T in the 60s or 70s I believe) and between Unix/Linux, they are I believe the main operating systems used by anything other than Microsoft Windows. In a nutshell anything other than personal computer and some server computers supporting those desktop computers, nearly everything else is Linux/Unix and/or networking devices such as the ones made by Cisco. The reason many people don't know about Unix or Linux is that they mostly just interact with desktop./personal computers and/or don't even know they device they are using uses a flavor of Linux. I believe kindle/android devices operate using a type of Linux as well as well as many other tablets and smart phones.
