Wish us luck. damned.gif

We stayed here once before, but didn't realize it was haunted...well one room is supposedly haunted ROOM 207. Anyway, nothing out of the ordinary happened during that stay.

We knowlingly stayed in a converted jailhouse to hotel in Cobourg, Ontario a few years back. The existing rooms were converted from actual cells, with the chain showers being in original condition. In that room the TV would shut off by itself, and the lamp by the window would flicker. I dealt with the problems by turning both off. chuckle.gif Actually, I did feel a presence in the room, but it was more interested in my hubby than me, so neither of us got a good night's sleep.

I told hubby that I don't want to do that again, but I booked the hotel yesterday not knowing about the haunting, so hopefully we will not get ROOM 207.

It's a lovely little town, Niagara-on-the-Lake. It's one of our favorites. I hope hubby will agree to a one hour tour on a horse drawn carriage tonight. I went on this tour with my daughter the last time, but only for a half hour, and it was great but I felt we missed half the tour. The video below shows exactly what's it like in the Summertime. If you walk further down from the art gallery you will come upon a lovely park right at the lake, with an American Fort within view (on the video).

You are so lucky! If you have an android phone you can download an EMF meter, and a ghostbox if you want to test the waters.
If you have a laptop to take try the free download of x-paranormal detector, of buy the full version, it's cheap and works a little too well at times.
We had to stop running it at home. damned.gif

I'm not a laptop girl...yet...and I'm dragging my feet on the new fangled phones. I only use a cell phone for emergencies with text only. I know I have to get with it. 13.gif If only I had an old voice recorder.

I tell you what, if they don't put us in ROOM 207...I will go to ROOM 207 and see if I get any vibes emanating from there - or orbs. I am bringing my new fangled camera. thumbsup.gif

Thanks everyone.

It is a very gorgeous spot and is also the home of the Shaw Theatre and the haunted Fort George, which when touring there too, I saw an aparition of a soldier, standing in my peripheral vision looking at me with a curious demeanour. I think he was a guard and was very interested in my Gortex rain coat.

Also there, is the haunted Angel Inn (restaurant and bar), where one time, when hubby and I went for lunch and I went to use the facilities down in the basement - where a young solider was brutally killed by being run through with a sword several times while hiding in a barrel - for no reason, the hand drier came on by itself while I was in the bathroom. damned.gif

This hotel also has the best steamroom I've ever experienced in a hotel and has a fabulous high tea, which I'll save for another time.

The place is fabulous! beercheer.gif

Interesting experiences you've had. You're apparently sensitive to these things.

good morning Kritters

U/S ,,, carry a Large Tuning Fork

if you spot a spirit

smack the tuning fork and sling the vibration at the booger

the harmonic will blast them back to hell

and also close the portal they're using

they'll drop their wallets and run

so you get some free money too chuckle.gif
