A, Do you know any poems where someone loses their 'umph

Here's a sonnet that comes close.

Octo, your flower artwork is fabulous. The other piece with the orbs where you have that one green orb in motion off the page to the right, is that along the lines of non-conformity or conformity, is the orb about to pulled away or is it being pushed in?

Multi flavors as well

The flower artwork is not mine, it's an actual photo of a bouquet I ordered from my florist niece. chuckle.gif

The orbs are onions lol.gif  The orb shooting off to the right was supposed to be a green onion, but turned out to look like a cucumber so I named it The Cucumber  13.gif

Unique stranger, break the blockade and paint this. I am very attached to this poem by Robert Frost. Very attached.

Even if it’s only a 12 x 12. If I like it I’ll give you a commission for a larger piece

I bought this beast about 18 months ago at a charity auction but still haven’t hung it. It doesn’t have much of a meaning to me but I was caught up in the moment when I bought it

It is approximately 190 x 370cm. I would love to replace it with “Two Roads Diverged”. That poem details my life on this rock.

If you’re not interested in the money I am happy to donate it to a charity of your choice

chuckle.gif  So much for my interpretation skills on your artwork.

I was just reading news articles and I found something that may interest you...eyeball planets (as an art form?).

Looking at it sideways, wavy (moving?) line shapes appear...did you notice that?

Right now we are replacing our deck railing and I am painting on deck sealer, so I am into the deck reno thing right now. And I think all my paints have dried out, but I haven't checked yet. I will check my paints as a beginning point. I know my drawing pencils, pastels, charcoal and coloured pencil crayons are still good.

If I were to paint that scene I would want to include your silhouette standing at the fork of the road perhaps looking at or stepping into that road not taken (the road less traveled by) ..., so I'd have to know how you want me to paint you and what hair/skin/clothing type and colouring you prefer and how you want your figure portrayed. But, I could do a quick small abstract painting or pencil drawing, only due to the fact that this would be my reintroduction to finding my umph.

Actually, I once read a book entitled 'The Road Less Traveled' and this whole concept has me thinking of that author's travels and thanks for that. You may have sparked something.

Now that you mention it I do. It has sat there covered for close to 18 months so I really didn’t get a chance to look at it closely. I really don’t want to hang it, I’ll donate it to another charity auction and keep waiting.

This is perhaps the best caricature I have of myself. Perhaps you could consider using that part way down the lesser used overgrown path fighting my way though.   You are the artist, I’ll leave the choice up to you

Happy to look at something very small before we move on to a big one
