Strange happenings here this morning

Huge blue flash in the sky, Whaler (at work) says it lit up the entire lake like daylight. Weird thing is the power was knocked out to the entire town before the flash. My power flickered twice about midnight then went out at 2:30, came back on 6:30 Strange..

That's what I thought too. But the power went out before the flash.

Could it be a natural gas explosion? Do you have any pipelines (stupid question?) there?

Yes actually, a main transmission line runs right past the town. But not close to where the flash was.

Yes Octo, huge dump of snow I'm home today because my co. has to deal with the snow before they can begin to think about keeping me busy.

We're having the worst possible November weather, temps are flat-lining and it's cloudy and foggy. But looks like we may get a little sun tomorrow... maybe 13.gif

Built of copper
and set in stone
the least of the sphere
could have easily blown
out every light in every house
leaving us in the dark
and feeling very alone

Alas came Atlas
on his golden Rhone
waving a sixpence
wearing helmet of bone

Saying " Hark Hark "
tis no danger
to be in the dark

twas but a fuse that blew
not a man eating shark

so the village idiot
brought a new fuse

and by midnight next
we'd all found our shoes

snow and wind
faced the east

but we faced west
where the sunset's
having harvest feast

eat your ham
eat that Turkey too

cause in this land
tis all that's
left for us to do

Mash Potato
Stuffing and corn
yams ,carrots , gravy too

goo for food
from head to shoe

Give me my Nike's
and I'll try to rescue you

The highly advanced technology of a vastly superior alien civilization would seem like magic to you and i or even sometimes as inexplicably strange weather phenomena and so it is possible that interdimensional aliens are traveling into our reality driving their time machine saucers flying through the illuminated opening and closing of an einstein rosen wormhole bridge?! and lets all hope thats exactly whats going on and not the earths magnetic poles beginning to shift again or the earths axis starting to flip again?!

The power outages and power bumps are insane, every couple hours sometimes for up to six hours, -20C (-31 with w/c) here and sofa king glad we have wood heat. Last two mornings no power at all. Doesn't affect me much except for no internet. 2 bumps since I got back on line 5 minutes ago gaah.gif
