Talking to your plants is supposed to be good for them.

But if you really want the best blooms, you should blast them with heavy metal music.

That’s the unlikely finding of a study by horticultural students who tested the effects of music on plants.
TV gardener Chris Beardshaw tells told Radio 4's Gardeners’ Question Time that a constant diet of Black Sabbath worked wonders – but plants exposed to Cliff Richard songs all died.

Panellist Beardshaw, who has also been a familiar face on BBC2’s Gardener’s World over the years, said using rock music as a nutrient appeared to create larger flowers.

And although the plants themselves were shorter, they were more disease-resistant.
The test came about because one of his horticultural students wanted to write a dissertation based on the effects of music on plants.

All other metal bands worship at the altar of black sabbath and led zeppelin..

The album you posted, master of reality,is black sabbaths best album...

Plants would probably grow best while listening to the best song ever made, stairway to heaven by led zeppelin...as in robert "plant"...

What happens when plants are exposed to lets say the greatly overrated tina turner, whos music i despise,do they burst into flames or start screaming? (*-*)

Oh my god....

And I know people who hate both Sabbath and LZ .
LZ is god as far as I'm concerned .

And Percy is a member here ...seriously ...I have a bone to pick with him, quite literally ....and no,I'm not being perverted . Real bone

How can anyone be human and not like led zeppelin?

not into metal bands.. i love LZ, but LZ isnt metal.. its rock..

Led Zeppelin might be thought of as being rock now,but when they first sonically assaulted the music scene back in early 1969 with their first awesome album containing intense songs like dazed and confused and good times bad times ect ect, those songs and others back then were definitely ground breaking heavy metal, although i dont think that term was being regularly used for describing certain styles of music yet...

Beyond all doubt,it was also Black Sabbath who definitely originated some styles and sounds of music that became certain types of heavy metal and their first album was released in 1970...

Then theres the awesome purple haze by Jimi Hendrix, from early 1967,another very early ground breaking song that contained certain styles and sounds of music that later became heavy metal...

This is hardly a bad song...

Actually its one of the best songs from the 1970s...

The lyrics conjure some really nice visuals...

Although I think its probably not very popular with some females for obvious reasons...
