I'm starting to think maybe my heart's true desire and
intention is something like this:

İmage

Except I love...umh...sex, drugs and rock'n'roll too much.
There is bloody enlightenment in the groove, the beat.

Oh well, the birds above me don't give a flying f**k, so
to speak.

Maybe thats because I've heard that song being played on the narrow minded radio like once in the past ten friggin years, like most great songs are brushed aside and forgotten more and more, but thanx to some peoples memories and youtube and sites like this, those song will stay alive and I remember hundreds and hundreds of them from before i was born right through the early 1990s,before music lost its emotional soul, that I listen to and play for other people all the time again and again...

An amazing song . Dissenters haven't examined the desperate odds of falling in love with someone in the H.S. Years , losing contact , then ultimately being together for the next 30 years.. Yeah , it's a beautiful song.
A shimmeringly effervescent song thats obviously written and performed by real lyricists and real singers and real multi instrumentalists writing and singing about their real feelings that everyone can still emotionally relate to upon some level of understanding along with instrumentations that clearly reflect those emotions...

As well as being a very evocative song that instantly resurfaces many pleasant and painful and forgotten memories from past loves lost and found and almost gained as well as being one of the best harmonious call and response duets in popular music...
