Yes, I've been there - Pori, Vaasa, and down to the lowest south-west point. To be honest - IMO the mix btwn swedish and finns is unnatural by the culture. Swedes are just different, finns are more russian like. I am not saying anything negative, but thinking in swedish and thinking in finnish is quite different matter. Yes, the swedish finns are more warm than finns in Tampere (for example), they are more musically tunned than pure finns, but they all are finns.
Finnish gypsies are finns too. I knew personally one finnish singer (he passed away sometime ago) - Kirkka. He was amazing good singer. And he was gypsy by blood.
If you want to make some finn to talk - just buy him a vodka in the pub - shortly after you'll be flooded with questions about your humble person. Nothing wrong though - just the vodka makes finns to speak openly.
