The first clip made the hair on my arms stand up FFS... damned.gif No blur filter there.
It's painfully obvious it's damn near human, I've read several accounts of people who were about to shoot them and stopped because they realized it was human.
Great stuff JayD hi5.gif

so jayRodney and kentuckyb and i were out on a small after noon hike on Saturday. we went to the local preserve. we hike about 3 miles and on the return loop.i tossed a rock in to the scrub on the right of me and kept walking.about 5-6 seconds later some thing threw a rock back at us ...we stopped in our tracks .... we eventually moved on but kept hearing something stalking us from both sides of the trail the whole way back....dunno.gif

Yup, I witnessed that with my own ears. it was a bit unnerving to have something following us the rest of the way.
And we caught a whiff or a strange smell. Something rotten.
kentuckyb took some great Armadillo footage, we were just a few feet away from them.
I'll try to get it uploaded to YouTube in the next day or so.

You need to film your time out there, that would make some entertaining stuff.

I've just been reading about how pet owners let loose their exotic pets when they realize they can't handle them. Could this be an actual gorilla?

I suppose it's possible, but for some reason the face looks like a rubber prop to me. It's most definitely not a Florida skunk ape, of that I'm certain.
