As far as the French... a very different sensibility when it comes to humor.
They scare me actually.

I wish I could have traveled a bit more, but was so tired after deploying I just wanted to go home.

What do you think about the Dutch?

They seemed to really enjoy interacting with foreigners besides the Germans, was at an international even there in Nijmegen.

They were pleasant hosts.

I turned myself to consider wisdom and madness and folly
The wise man’s eyes are in his head,
But the fool walks in darkness.
Yet I myself perceived
That the same event happens to them all.

The Dutch are nice but have their square heads, I know because my Dad is one. Spent my whole life thinking a Dutch background was something to be ashamed of. Then I went to Holland and met my cousins. They have a bit of arrogance but are exceptionally nice people.

JR when you tell people you're Canadian don't say it with a French accent lmao.gif

Wow, was he awful and having a bad hair year. chuckle.gif
Honestly, if going to Europe I'd recommend the same advice you'll get from Floridians, and in Florida that's
"We don't give a shït how you did it up North"
And Europeans don't give a shït which side men's coats zip up on in the US.
As far as fashion recommendations... FFS
I wouldn't take any fashion advice from from ole Calvin Klein there, I have a couple pairs of baggy g dawgs and the only thing anyone said was "bad ass, where'd you score those pants bra."

Nobody gives me a second look actually. Being American here is nothing you have to hide, same as Finns in America.
If I was in France or something, I'm sure I would have been lynched.
