Vegan BACON!!!aaah2.gif

I did have a BACON and egg sandwich made with a toasted english muffin...well...actually 3 as they're a little small. Nice buttered toasted muffins each with about a third pound of my 1lb package and each with a sunny side up egg along with a giant glass of cold milk. Sat down and watched the Seattle Seahawk's game. I did share a little with my feral cat buddy named Chunk Cat as he kept putting one paw on my arm and givin me persistent little hoarse baby meows. He also got to lick some yolk and bits off of the plate which I would've done if he wasn't there. I love BACON and so does Chunk Cat.

Oh man...I ate 2 lbs of of center/thick cut of bacon during the two football conference championship games. During the Broncos Patriot games I had two of my homemade BACON mcmuffins AND for the S E A H A W K S 40whiners game I polished off the majority of it wrapped around shrimp and scallops. Cooking the BACON just enough to keep it bendy foldy and then wrapping it around the seafood and then throwing it into the rendered BACON grease on high heat to crisp it...but not rubberize the seafood. A little squeeze of lime on some of them along with 2 rolls of Ritz crackers with 10 ozeez of some Irish, Scottish and Welsh cheddar cheeses from Trader Joe's. I washed it down with 12 Tecate beers, 9 of which I drank during the nerve racking S E A H A W K S game. I was about to bust a gut and/or artery when my wife asks...what's for dinner? She fixed soup and about 7:30 I had 3 Tums and a glass of water. Monday I had off thanks to my favorite brother from another mother...MLK JR. I had a glass of milk, a banana and my vitamins and had nothin but a half gallon of water and 2 cans of coconut water until I had a lettuce and tomato sandwich in the evening. Holy eye floaters...I ODeed on food and drink in a 5 hr period AND I'm never eatin BACON or drinkin beer again...this month. Just thought I'd share my near death experience. Gooooo to the light...NO!

I swear I still taste BACON and beer when burping.

mmmmmmmmm...BACON. you could wrap just about anything in BACON...toss it in the fryer and mmmmmmmm. I've tried wrapping a meatloaf before...but wasn't that impressed as I still like the bacon a little crisp and it just didn't seem to do the trick. towards the end of cooking I used the broiler and turned the loaf a couple of times...but still the inside parts of the BACON and it was a hassle tryin to turn the big loaf without messin it up. If I had a bigger or better deep fryer I'd try small meatloaf logs at maybe a pound to a pound n a half wrapped in BACON and then dropped into the fryer. Maybe a nice french roll, hoagie or those smaller Mexican bread loaves for sandwiches would make a nice little bed for it with whatever your favorite condiments are and a little real cheese on it. Hmmm...maybe something to think about to punish my arteries for super bowl Sunday.

Tempura batter is soooo good. We used it with about half inch thick cut up chunks of bacon and deep fried em. I don't even remember what else we had with them besides beer.

You couldn't pay me to eat asspergases...but yes...BACON wrapped I've had AND BACON wrapped I'd eat em again. Like getting the kids to eat broccoli or cauliflower... it has to be smothered in cheese or drenched in ranch dressing.
