So I am planning to return to the grid tomorrow. I hope it will not be for long as I have kind of gotten used to the bugout way of life. Hopefully I won't catch ebola.

See you when you get back NODOOM for a coffee. You have done really well with the bug out. It is great to test this way of living out in preparation for such an eventuality. Regarding Ebola I catch the central line from Notting Hill to Stratford which takes about an hour and is always crammed with people. Today I was thinking of how we all fit in the tube, touching the same hand rails, sitting in the same seats, pressed into each other. One million people a day use the tube and rush hour is horrendous. One outbreak missed and we are all fukkked.

By the way if anyone is thinking of buying a Sony Vaio - don't. I bought mine less than a year ago and it has crashed three times now. I just got it back from repairs and it is still problematic. Thankfully I have insurance and I just read the fine print which says if it breaks a fourth time I can get a brand new laptop. Thank god I got insurance or else I would have spent more money getting it fixed than it cost to buy. Strangely enough my last three laptops were half the price of this one and only started going wrong three to four years after purchase. I never got insurance for any of them either. What is wrong with today's technology? So not built to last. My apple I-phone screen started pushing out last week and I took it in for them to look at and to be fair to their customer services they took one look at it, said it was a swollen battery and replaced it instantly and more importantly for free. Why can't all customer services be as good as this? I'm talking to you Currys! Oh and if you're wondering I've never downloaded anything dodgy like prawn on my Vaio. I use my old laptop for that.... ;-)

I can see by your coat my friend you're from the other side. Just one thing I got to know. Who won?

I look forward to that coffee. London is gonna be a bit difficult after so long in the wilds of northern Scotland.

When this Ebola outbreak hits any big metropolis like London it is gonna go viral fast.

As to the Sony Vaio. I am sure they make technology deliberately shoddy to increase consumer demand. It's a bit like the cars of the 50's and 60's. They were built solidly and to last. Nowadays they are made of cheap materials and last only, in many cases, a few years.

iagree.gif they make money by shorting quality then make more money selling insurance policies against their own shoddy products. I've had a Dell for almost 6 years and the only time it crashed was when I messed it up myself.

Well I have arrived back in what I loosely call civilization. And am back in London. I have some thing very difficult to attend to so if you guys wouldn't mind sending me some good vibes I would be most appreciative.

Maybe more on that later.

Thanks.

Thanks guys. Much appreciated. The next few days are not going to be fun as I will be fighting a battle that is long overdue.
