It still burns like a mofo after several hours. I guess it burned pretty deep. JR said he's never seen anyone burn themselves as much as I do. chuckle.gif I usually don't even notice, my hands are pretty seasoned.

I cut a bit aloe off our plant so I'll put that on after I've melted all the ice.

Burns can really hurt. Next time, break an egg immediately and put some white on the burn. Then let me know if it works. I never seem to think of it at the time.

I have actually put egg whites on minor burns until I read you shouldn't really do that as it may cause infection uhoh.gif I'll be fine, it's just a PITA, or finger rather. 13.gif

Yesterday I grabbed hold of this young guy who was pushing an old man out of the way just to get on the central line. Never mind that I now have flu like symptoms which may or may not be because I was standing up in rush hour pressed against a guy with a cold and a mother with a sniffling baby. I'm still waiting for the Ebola outbreak...

London is one toxic city

SO glad I don't live in a big city. But your city transit system is so efficient, I would have got on a bus or train this morning rather than drive. Took one step out of my work truck and WHAM! On my back breath knocked out. Good thing I'm of sturdy peasant stock or I'd be hurt.

Have something very spicy, sweat out the bug. Like hot and sour soup from a Chinese diner.

Yes it is efficient. Apparently an average of nearly 3 million use the tube each day (2007 figures). I'm constantly amazed it works so well but during rush hour it is an intense experience.

I hope you are better after your fall. hug.gif

I can see by your coat my friend you're from the other side. Just one thing I got to know. Who won?

hug.gif I heal pretty fast, but I think the worst damage was avoided by soaking it in ice water all night and then aloe.

Ouch.

Burned a couple of fingers some 3 weeks ago...didn't notice,
until the smell of burned flesh reached my nostrils 13.gif

Just about back to normal now...weird and wonderful colours
through the process...
