I burned a couple fingers last week deep frying fish, just finished peeling the scabs off, but they weren't deep at all and still hurt like heck. I always use my poplar bud balm, amazing stuff.

Yup.

Too many projects going on, though - requires
my presence in town right now.

The smaller cabin not difficult to heat, though...
Only 3 km to walk up to the village for shopping...

Next time I get fed up, I'll bloody do it.

I am glad you guys are getting better and, yeah, ice water and aloe is a good remedy.

It's the best as long as you see something other than concrete and asphalt

iagree.gif I can't imagine anything more depressing day after day. We used to ski to the school bus and work, 4 miles. Still black as night with a head lamp on, you get hypnotized by the beam of light and the snow and before you realize, you're there. But the exhilaration of the trip stays with you.

Always hated skis.

Skinny boy too lightweight to make the goddang things
actually flatten and touch the snow. Gave up trying in 1975.
Always made bloody good speed backwards, though 13.gif

I never tried snow skiing (I did try water skiing...meh, not my thing either) because the thought of travelling practically uncontrollably down an ice/snow hill just did not appeal to me at all.

No I'm not into any uphill or downhill skiing. Cross-country or nothing, preferably on snow covered ice where it's flat.
