Very strange.

Also the fact that the military closed off the area to the public for 3 years after the incident is very interesting.

Quote:Could the answer to this mystery be the occurrence of an Infrasound phenomenon?

Yes! This could actually be the real reason for the panic that gripped the skiers. As the famous literary character Sherlock Holmes once said: “When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?” Actually, Infrasound is neither impossible nor improbable – it’s something new that people are only just beginning to understand.

Quote:The lethal effects of air blast first became evident during World War I, when soldiers were found dead after an explosion despite having no external injuries. There was plenty of internal damage, though, particularly to hollow organs such as the ear, lung, and gastrointestinal tract. The exact cause of death was debated for many years; the prevailing theory currently is air embolism originating in the lungs. Blast pressure on the chest ruptures delicate lung tissue, admitting air bubbles into the arteries that travel to the heart, brain, and other organs and cause sudden death.

Hmmm.....Russian bomb blast?

"...Russian industry relocated to the Urals during the Nazi advance at the beginning of World War II, and as the center of the Soviet nuclear industry during the Cold War. Extreme levels of air, water, and radiological contamination and pollution by industrial wastes resulted."

"Totsk test site in the Urals

A nuclear weapons test conducted at the Totsk test site in the Arinbuk region of the southern Urals on 14 September 1954 continued to cause serious health and environmental effects decades later. The former Russian Deputy Minister for Emergency Situations Vladimir Vladimirov claimed that people living in the blast region remained exposed to ionizing radiation 42 years later, with soil levels of plutonium-239 up to five times normal levels. High levels of caesium-137 contamination were also recorded. The region's population suffers shorter life expectancy and a death rate 1.8 times higher than in other similar areas, a high infant mortality and a high rate of physical retardation in children."

Then again..campers are flocking there and to Ivdel, a village brimming with UFO activity...

Quote:As well as trips to the Dyatlov Pass, a number of local tour operators feature trips to a village named Ivdel, which — according to experts on extra-terrestrial flight sightings — “is an epicenter of UFO activity.”

“Not a month goes by without villagers reporting some strange kind of glowing in the sky. No theories about the Northern Lights or passing aircraft can explain this. So far, no logical explanation for this phenomenon has been advanced,” a local tour company representative explained. Participants have to register with the Ministry of Emergency Situations before commencing their trip.

Were these people walking/hiking/camping within Siberia without any weapons?! and if they had guns (why wouldnt they have knowing there were wild carnivorous bears and tigers and wolves lurking around) were any of them fired in defense during this attack?!

After reading through this and the autopsies I have to say most injuries look to be from falling
Falling after being thrown (dumped) out of the flying saucer driven by the aliens who forcibly abducted them and extracted genetic materials from them which is exactly what seems to have happened during many cattle mutilations!
