Charges filed against five who removed teen’s kidney

Last year, a Chinese teen sold his kidney to raise money to buy an Apple iPad and iPhone. Now, five people, including the surgeon who conducted the operation, are being charged with "intentional injury."

News of the illegal surgery first broke last year. The boy spoke to a Chinese TV station. "I wanted to buy an iPad 2, but I didn't have the money," the boy said. "When I surfed the internet I found an advert posted online by agent saying they were able to pay RMB 20,000 to buy a kidney." That's the equivalent of about $3,100.

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to poor

Quote:According to prosecutors, the boy, who was 17 at the time of the operation, has suffered from renal deficiency, a serious medical condition in which the kidney fails to filter toxins and waste from the blood stream.

There's an app for that bored.gif

He is partially to blame with his fancy ass blue suede shoes and rhinestone bedazzled outfits.

The Atari 2600 was the beginning of all this materialism bullshit.

The evils of Materialism started in the 1950's back when the first post war TV sets were out. Where they would have ads like this

Back when pretty much all modern products were made in the USA, due to the fact that much of the world which manufactured goods was a pile of rubble and under major debt.

In 1937 De Beers hired N. W. Ayer one of the most successful advertising agencies in the U.S. to rehash the diamond’s image. N.W. Ayer attacked on multiple fronts including diamond lessons in home economics classrooms and script doctoring Hollywood movies to include scenes of starlets ecstatically receiving huge diamond rings.

But, the real magic happened in 1947 when a single female copywriter named Frances Gerety typed the phrase “A Diamond is Forever.” The multi faceted slogan endowed the diamond engagement ring with the power of eternal happiness, and whispered to families to hold onto their diamonds. Resale was out of the question. Diamonds could only be passed down. Ms. Gerety’s saying saved the market from an influx of second hand rings.

By the time Marilyn Monroe belted “Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend ” in Gentlemen Prefer Blonds” the diamond engagement ring was de rigueur. An ingenious advertising campaign had melded love and diamonds into a single entity, so much so that today the Tiffany’s engagement ring webpage has an app for people in love. Those of you who thought you were in love without this app were delusional.

Were you the first on your block ?

Most TOY adds on TV in the early 1960's ended with :

" BE THE FIRST ON YOUR BLOCK TO OWN ONE "

Heartbreaking to a kid,,, was when the Neighbor kid got theirs first.

Markets and shops became screaming and stamping of the feet dramatic stages
for the kids who had to have the latest heavily advertized toy.

Fads become addictions

Today,,, the dysfunction is now bred deep into the gene pool.

Whereas, we are the consuming moronic slaves that supply the wealth to those who
shovel shït into our minds with the TV's they sell us so we have a venue to spy their next fad to hock to us.

Yes,,,, yes indeed it is a nasty little cycle we ride in.

Indeed it does explain ,, well, not much, but enough to get you started
thinking.

try Gold, why is it valued,, but before you think about that,, first give some thought
about what made it valued way back in time,, as in,,

when and why did mankind first establish a value to Gold,, and why hoard it ?

Think about as well,,, Nike Tennis shoes,, heh heh,,

why would people form all night lines outside a store to buy the latest Nike tenny ?

rational ?

Further
why is it Britons have a Queen ?

Why Royals at all anywhere ?

Further: 72% of Americans distrust the U.S. Government,,, why then do that 72% keep
paying taxes to a corrupt system ?

Security ? is it because they fear if a Corrupt system that Governs them falls down,,,

they will be invaded by enemies ?

Allen Dulles said it to Truman : Give the public a Monster to fear ( Communist Russia )
and they fund the Military spending as they did during the War.

Ah,,, the dark days and nights of the Cold War.

Shall i sell my liver to pay taxes to the U.S. Government so it can use the money to
Monitor me ?

or perhaps build a concentration camp to place me in ?

yeah, think about it

how rational are we really ?
