How wonderful for you Shadow. I see the city is on the East Central part of the Island, so do you intend to paddle down to the southern parts of the national park and have a look there too?

I plan to paddle as much as I can. I'd go around the entire archipelago if I had time but that would be a month or more. This is a very special trip for me, much bigger reason than just going to Haida Gwaii, that aspect is a french benefit of this trip cheers.gif The cabin is $37/person/night. How sweet is that?

Thank you hug.gif you're a kind person US.
I already found what I was looking for, this is a trip to understand it. Oh yeah.

Anyways, it'll be very interesting to learn if fuku has affected the Pacific, if the horror stories we're hearing are real.

"Tepco official Teruaki Kobayashi said the survey found no major obstacles around an opening leading to the underground part of the vessel, which is good news for future surveys needed to extricate the molten nuclear fuel."

Quote:A Japanese court has blocked the restarting of two nuclear reactors in the western city of Takahama, after local people raised safety concerns.

I am surprised the court listened to the people at all, but the electric company is going to appeal this decision.

Quote:Samples of bottled tap water taken from the afflicted area reportedly received a “Gold Quality award” from Belgian consumer quality testing company Monde Selection.
---------------------------

Run by the commercial International Institute for Quality Selections, Monde Selection awards are requested from a panel of judges, who conduct tests and analyses on products ranging from cosmetics and beer to diet and health products, awarding bronze, silver, gold and “grand gold” medals accordingly.

This is very strange thing. I wonder if the company was bought off, or if it is true?

Second robot captures glow inside stricken Fukushima plant.

Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) deployed the second remote-controlled robot last week after the first one broke down.

The Odd part about this event is 3 months prior to the event!
Japan started the conversational request for the de~man~ing and hand over of all US military controlled Bases and property.
And there is literally little to nothing about this any where on the internet!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan_Self-Defense_Forces
The Japan Self-Defense Forces (自衛隊 Jieitai?), or JSDF, occasionally referred to as JSF or SDF, are the unified military forces of Japan that were established after the end of the post–World War II. In recent years they have been engaged in international peacekeeping operations.[6] Recent tensions, particularly with North Korea,[7] have reignited the debate over the status of the JSDF and its relation to Japanese society.[8] New military guidelines, announced in December 2010, will direct the Jieitai away from its Cold War focus on the Soviet Union to a focus on China, especially regarding the dispute over the Senkaku Islands.[9]

They list the date here it was in December 2010!
It really makes one wonder about our real level of technology.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tesla%27s_oscillator
Tesla's electro-mechanical oscillator is a steam-powered electric generator patented by Nikola Tesla in 1893.[1][2] Later in life Tesla claimed one version of the oscillator caused an earthquake in New York City in 1898, gaining it the popular culture title "Tesla's earthquake machine".
