Oops... TEPCO finds 35-ton machine fallen in Fukushima No. 3 spent fuel pool!

Quote:TEPCO, reported the finding after placing a camera inside the water-filled pool the same day to prepare for removing, as part of the decommissioning process, the nuclear fuel stored there.

One photo showed part of the machine, originally located above the pool and used to insert and remove fuel, appeared to have dropped onto the nuclear fuel storage racks.

Comforting to know they are still clueless, but more importantly who cares about radiation, as long as they save face it's all good. gaah.gif

Quote:This clip from TV Asahi is a lucid explanation of the biggest ongoing news story in the world today: The catastrophic consequences if an earthquake strikes the Fukushima Dai-Ichi No. 4 power plant before its spent fuel rods are moved to safe storage place, a process that will not even begin until December 2013, and could take years. It aired March 8, 2012 on “Morning Bird,” a mainstream Japanese news and information TV program.

surreal video clip, with the setting of the discussion.

I don't know, after looking at those pics, if it's more they simply do not know what to do but save face. In fact I suspect they'd gain MORE face by saving the planet than not, but they can't.

No they can't, there's not any technology available yet to deal with these levels of radiation gaah.gif

And I'm not blaming Japan, I'm blaming the whole freakin world of POO for sweeping this under the rug. vic.gif

iagree.gif the corporactocracy (aka POO) doesn't give a ğck about anything but the bottom line. They built the reactors in the cheapest possible fashion in the cheapest location. Not enough money to build it right but always enough to build it again. lol.

Japanese Doctor: Children’s health problems increasing — Incurable stomatitis, chest pain, nosebleeds that don’t stop, diarrhea

Quote: Terumi Kataoka, who lives just 100 kilometers (62 miles) from the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, is one of thousands of Japanese who frankly don’t believe what governments and scientists are telling them about the health effects of low-dose radiation.

So Kataoka, 50, has set up the Aizu Radiation Information Center at her local United Church of Christ church in Aizuwakamatsu. Because she is especially concerned about the effect of radiation on children, she also heads the Aizu Society to Protect the Lives of Children from Radiation.

“There is no time to lose. We are called to pray and act with our voices of anger to save the lives of the little ones,” Kataoka told ENInews. [...]

Tomoyuki Yamazaki, a Japanese doctor and a United Church member in Wakayama Prefecture in western Japan who provides medical counselling at the information center every month, said in an email to ENInews that an increasing number of children he has seen “have nosebleeds that don’t stop, diarrhea, dark circles under their eyes, and incurable stomatitis [an inflammation of the mucous linings in the mouth]. A growing number of children [at the centre] have pains in their chests.”

that is really sad to hear. I used to date a Japanese girl and she was so innocent. They are brought up so different to us. She was from Tokyo but thankfully she is is Australia at the moment. This makes me think about her which is something I don't normally like to do as the differences between us split us up. Lets just say she didn't drink or smoke.....

those poor kids.

I can see by your coat my friend you're from the other side. Just one thing I got to know. Who won?

I don't know if this has been stated before on this site but this guy, who I never read until today, claims that the the 9.0 earthquake never occured, that a 6.4 took place instead and at the same time as it happened a nuke bomb in a trench in the ocean was set off to cause a tidal wave that hit the coast of japan. He thinks that the country is ƒükkêd , the people are ƒükkêd and that mass migration is coming. He also believes that a 9/11 job was done combining a nuke in the blown reactor and the stuxnex virus. He also blames the Israeli government and Mossad because they did not want Japan to sell refined nuke material to Iran. I must admit he is quite appealing to read because he write with a good voice. If you read further about his experiences with Orthodox Jews then it sounds like he got involved in something much bigger. An interesting sidenote. When I was in Australia the New Zealand and Japanese earthquakes happened and the first government to offer help with both disasters was the Israeli government. Nevermind they don't help their own people enough and suppress the palestinians, they are now apparantly in a position to offer aid to the world. Netanyahu is determined to destroy the country that gave him a voice.

we live in strange times.
