I like Sanders. Our ideologies are not too far from one another.

There is one big problem with Sanders.

Money.

The single payer insurance isn't a big deal. I can pay $500+ to an insurance company that is probably going to find a way to not pay and will set my deductible so high that I will never meet it and then will never pay more than 80% if I do. Or I can pay $500+ higher in taxes a month and not have to worry about any of that.

The only way to pay for the rest of it is to cut military spending.

Do that and expect a serious false flag involving a lot of deaths and another war to get that spending back on track.

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to poor

Agreed...
As long as the MIC and corporate lobbyists run the show... all the rest is lip service.
I just know I like what Sanders has to say and he's not afraid to follow the example of Nordic countries regarding healthcare and education.
He's addressing the elephant in the room...
DRUG PRICES.
Since Rand dropped out, he's the closest to my own ideology. I like his progressive stance on decriminalization, that would save billions, and add billions in revenue.
I'm not certain if people are realizing what a leap this is from the current maintain the status quo, keep the banks, Wall Street and big insurance happy admin the us has.
I admit, he's like this old avuncular type, like Larry David or something, but he's solid, and above all... for whatever reason...
As ridiculous as this sounds, I trust him damned.gif

Rand dropped out?

When? I hadn't heard. I guess the MSM plan to treat him as poorly as they did his dad. Ignore him and he does not exist.

The difference in Bernie and the rest is that he actually wants to improve the situation for the people and not the corps and has spent decades doing it. The rest of them are so transparently status quo it is nauseating.

Not at all. Wow... the media does have some power.
Rand is a solid guy.
I looked at the candidates, read their platforms, and for me...
as if this means shït lol...
In terms of someone who corresponds most closely to my own political views
1. Rand Paul
2. Bernie Sanders
3: Donald Trump

2 of the 3 are still there.
Sanders resonates with my sensibilities.

Wouldn't surprise me if you did read an article about some cranky episode on an airport or something. That's how media goes about discrediting people, planting seeds of shït that has nothing to do with the program they're presenting.

Don't know anything about any stories, but I can see it happening.

Yuppers, if the media can plant that seed in your mind, there it is... pwned. Lot's of people get pwned by shït they read that turns out not to be true in the first place.
This programming stuff works on so many levels.
Octo and I worked in TV, we know exactly what/how it is.

Well, I watched the debate in full now.
I have to say Sanders walked away with it.
He touched on some things I certainly did not expect.
He's refreshing.

Some people give Bernie Sanders a hard time, asking how he's going to pay for all his free programs. Silly people. Don't they know what "free" means?
